Emerald Freight Express has developed its own unique on-line shipping system, branded as EMFREX. This empowers Irish vendors to run off a weekly distribution manifest for their shipments in a streamlined fashion as EMFREX assigns a UPS tracking number for each package before we pick up the packages from our shippers door.
EMFREX also enables our clients to track and trace their packages online as we have full access to the UPS tracking system and this proves to be a tremendous value added service for our customers both at home and across North America.
Emerald Freight Express also operates a weekly Ocean groupage service to the USA and Canada. Our service to the USA offers a transit of 11 days from departure Dublin to arrival Newark, NJ.
Our Ocean containers are transferred directly from the piers at Newark to a Customs Bonded Terminal, which is operated by our appointed Customs Brokers and we're achieving delivery within the tri-state area inside 16 days, Midwest 20 days and West Coast,23 days door to door.
